FleetCom Update
Hello VVarMachine! Hope the start of summer has been treating you well. This post as usual is a quiet one on my end — no major updates, just steady vibes and a lot of appreciation for everything you all do. A few months ago we were able to bring the SCNet web platform back online to support our Star Citizen Division, and it’s been running smoothly thanks to the continued support of our members through Patreon. Your activity, your presence, and your contributions — in game, behind the scenes, and across our infrastructure — keep this community moving forward. Enjoy the sunshine, stay safe, and dive into the division updates below!

Division Updates

PlanetSide 2
Q2 of 2026 has not seen an improvement to the Planetside 2’s crashing issues, with more than half of the last 10 months being plagued with crashes. This combined with being a small unit, and real-life schedule conflicts causing further problems has led to the PS2 division becoming the one thing we try to avoid: inconsistent.
This brings us to some serious changes being made to the division. A restructure is required to keep expectations aligned with reality in order to keep things running sustainably into the future. We would have previously put the option of shelving the division on the table at this stage, but it is clear that people value the consistent weekly gatherings over Planetside 2 remaining the reason as to whether this division sinks or swims. So let’s explain what is changing:
The Planetside 2 Division will reduce activity to 1 Operation per week, with the exception of 2 per week during weeks containing Community Game Nights. The schedule will now be posted monthly instead of weekly in order to give people much greater advance notice, allowing members to plan to attend more effectively and Ops to be moved around if needed in an attempt to avoid last minute cancellations. This will also solve the recent issue of schedules being posted late for various reasons.
We will now also have backup games assigned each month in order to always have a plan in place for when PS2 is not working. These games will be decided on by active attendees, and rotate each month as new ideas gain traction. The monthly rotation will work nicely alongside the monthly schedule, and should mean that games purchased in some cases will get their proper “bang for your buck”, and not discarded after a single session. There’s a lot that can be workshopped with this process, so please share your thoughts with us.
Which leads to the final point: Feedback. Currently, the Ops day each week will be shuffled to keep the variety of days we’ve had, but all this restructure is subject to further change with your feedback. None of us want to stop gathering each week, as much as Planetside and real life seem to be getting in the way of that, but changing to a framework like this has a lot of promise for keeping this community of ours active and enjoyable. Your feedback can help make this new system better, so please bring those ideas to the table. There might be a feedback survey at some point if necessary, and further details posted in outfit chat in the future as needed.
To the dedicated core group of folks who continue to show up: Thank you for making this division what it is and being there to make it worth everyone’s time. To the folks who haven’t been around in a while: please consider stopping by as we move forward with this new way of doing things. You’ve all been away due to the prior issues above, so don’t be a stranger as we branch out and start trying some new things here. Thank you all for your time, and I hope to see y’all at Ops during Q3!
On to Star Citizen.

Star Citizen
The VVarMachine Fleet has been tackling the summer bugs head-on, proving that our core community is stronger and more resilient than ever! While Star Citizen’s recent updates brought server challenges, they also triggered a massive, positive pivot from CIG. The developers have actively restructured their roadmap to focus entirely on aggressive stabilization and “bug crushing,” ensuring the foundation of the game becomes smoother and more reliable for everyone in the very near future.
Even better, CIG is still pouring massive energy into finalizing the highly anticipated single-player campaign, Squadron 42, which remains on track for its thrilling release. Meanwhile, our active VVarMachine members are having a blast finding ways to win in the current build. We have been diving deep into awesome new features like the crafting system and the latest high-stakes XenoThreat event, proving that the Verse is still packed with adrenaline-pumping fun.
Our small groups for the Tactical Strike Groups have been absolute powerhouses, successfully smashing through a total of four major operations—including an incredible Joint Op with one of our closest allied Orgs! While some of the fleet is taking a tactical breather until the upcoming stability patches land, our weekly operations are still running strong and welcoming anyone ready for action.
Strap into your cockpit, join the crew this week, and we will see you in the Verse!

Thank You!
Like we do at every community meeting, and in each quarterly updated, we would like to thank all those that continue to donate through Patreon or Discord Server Boosting.
Discord Server Boosting gives our Discord server a little extra flair from server banners to a custom join link. We recently dropped to Level 2, so we have lost our /varr custom link. We have three permeant links that can be used:
Our Discord Server Boosters: Ech0Whiskey, FallenHylian, Jeffon, MantisOlthoi, Razzun, Sivien21, WhiteknightR, Zachmo3 and Zahraphim. Your continued support is greatly appreciated in boosting our server and giving us the many cool features such as the custom join URL and more additional emojis!
For our SCNet (https://vvar.navy) we have started to take Patreon donations again. Thank you to those that have kept their subscriptions going or have restarted. If you have questions on this, please reach out to a Flag Officer
