Who We Are:

ARMA - VVarMachine Security Services

A mixed collection of new and veteran Arma players who come together for a unique team-based tactical experience with an emphasis on the individual assets and personnel all coming together to accomplish the same mission effectively and efficiently.

What we do:

We are a NATO friendly Private Military Company (PMC) in-universe that uses a wide range of assets to touch on every available area available to us in Arma 3, from Scuba to HALO to armor and the core – Light airmobile infantry; we do it all. Individual kits vary widely and are focused on individual roles as a part of a cohesive squad. All vehicles are chosen to perform the best in their niche and provide the best support to the infantry platoon.

How Did We Get here?:

At the start of 2018, Paladin Company Security Solutions, a PMC unit would shut down for good after three years of continuous operation and its members began wandering the vast wastes of the Arma 3 Find A Unit subreddit.

In spring, Harlone – a former PALCOM member and active VVarMachine SC Fleet member approached the former leader and head developer of PALCOM – Farquharson – to create a brand new Arma unit from the ground up in VVarMachine Gaming. Planning began behind the scenes to bring the proposal to the community commander to officially sanction an integration of an Arma unit. For an unknown amount of time VVAR had partnered with the British MILSIM unit ‘1PARA’, but a divide had started to grow between the two units in scope, vision, and communication.

With all this considered – VVarMachine Security Services, LLC was officially sanctioned and began server, mod, and policy preparation to start operations at the end of May of that year. Initial recruitment consisted of existing VVarMachine members and former PALCOM members coming together to form a new unit. Growing pains plagued the unit as it worked through rules, regulations, gear restrictions, team construction, training, and other back-end challenges creating a unique playstyle different from a standardized milsim.

Despite thriving joint ops with another group and regular attendance numbers over 20, the remainders of growing pains and real-life complications affecting unit staff, VVarSecServices shut its doors temporarily in mid-July 2019.

However after only a few short months – in mid-October of the same year, rejuvenated and with new ideas to fix the issues that plagued them previously: VVarMachine Security Services reopened its doors and started official operations again on November 1st, 2019 and has been conducting them every week since.
