May Update

A lot has been going on over the last few weeks, so let’s get into it.

Technology

First off, thank you to all our Patreon supporters and those that help boost our Discord server. Your help is greatly appreciated and we are currently able to cover all hosting and other technology costs, including giving our Discord server some nice perks. We would not be where we are today without your help.

On the community website front, we continue working on various areas of the site. Currently, we are working on user management and profiles that will allow members to rejoin the website and we can then use the functionality to assist in having a central point to go to find relevant documents without having to search Google Drive. Hopefully, when this goes live it will greatly assist our members.

ARMA

VVarMachine Security Services – the community’s ARMA III Division – continues to make great leaps forward. Consistent numbers averaging 15-16 players and spikes in the mid-twenties. We continue ongoing work on the Personnel Qualification System (PQS) training system. Weekly training continues to allow us to test and certify members in a sensible way. Our point gearing system has received a rework for better rule clarification and ARMA specific Code of Conduct changes should be wrapping up in the coming weeks to be posted on the website. The sky’s the limit and we keep rocketing upwards at a break-neck pace.

PlanetSide 2

A lot has happened over the last few weeks. We were able to pull our first Bastion and kicked some major ass. We lasted the whole hour of the pull, including taking on another Bastion. We are currently exploring the possibility of expanding to a third operation a week. Please check #ps2-transmissions in Discord for additional information. We are also planning on another Bastion op in the next month or so and planning for the PlanetSide 2 Colossus update.

Star Citizen

Preparing for Fleet Week
Our StarCitizen Division is excited in anticipation of the UEE’s Invictus Launch Week (aka Fleet Week), beginning on Friday, May 22nd, and lasting through June 1st. Along with an exhaustive list of limited ships available for purchase, the event will feature in-game demonstrations from the UEE’s military squadrons across the Stanton System. We anticipate the main attractions to include Idris Frigates, Javelin Destroyers, and the UEE Navy F8 Lightning demo team. Join us in-game to support the UEE’s military might and the launch of Star Citizen Alpha 3.9.1!
