FleetCom Update
I [Ech0Whiskey] hope you’re enjoying the summer so far, and for those of you in the US, I hope you had a nice and safe 4th of July weekend!
It’s mostly business-as-usual for VVarMachine. We’re continuing regular operations in both Planetside 2 and StarCitizen, along with our monthly community game night towards the end of each month on Saturdays. We’ve also added some additional weekly events in StarCitizen (on Thursdays) centered around the operations using the Idris Frigate, and the new in-game dynamic mission events which are being updated and enhanced each month during the regular patch release cycle. If you’re interested in joining up with those, please reach out to Ech0Whiskey, Razzun, or Jeffon.
As per usual, you can find more detail on our game division updates below. Thank you all for your continued presence here, and your efforts to make the VVarMachine Gaming Community a fun and engaging place for all!
Like we do at every community meeting, and in each quarterly updated, we would like to thank all those that continue to donate through Patreon or Discord Server Boosting. During the Star Citizen Division reserve state, Patreon donations have been put on hold as the SCNet servers have been shutdown. We thank all our past supporters in helping offset the cost of the hosting.
Discord Server Boosting gives our Discord server a little extra flair from server banners to a custom join link. Our Discord Server Boosters: Ech0Whiskey, FallenHylian, Jeffon, MantisOlthoi, Razzun, Sivien21, WhiteknightR and Zahraphim. Your continued support is greatly appreciated in boosting our server and giving us the many cool features such as the custom join URL and more additional emojis!
Division Updates

PlanetSide 2
Q2 of 2025 has been a great return to form for Planetside 2. Even with about a month of server latency issues, the New North American Server, Osprey, has seen a return of real planetside fights and scale for us Connery players. There have been some great Ops in coordination with a more consistent NC Command, and some impromptu coordination with our NC allies as well as a consistent increase in Ops Quality across the board, so we couldn’t be much happier with the current state of the game.
Despite being thrown into a much larger pool of players, we have been able to maintain a high impact on the battlefield, making alert-defining plays on a handful of occasions. The server merge has also brought a few reserve members back into the weekly routine, which has been great for our consistency as a unit. Overall, the server merge has been great for our Ops, and even better than expected in some instances.
There are still some rough spots to smooth over since the merge when it comes to understanding how to approach specific outfits on enemy factions, and improving our Recruitment Ops, but these issues will be an ongoing and enjoyable challenge to overcome.
It’s been a long time since we’ve put out a Feedback Survey for the division; mainly because it was not needed back in January, so it is about time to now. There will be a Division Feedback Survey going out in July in order to gauge how well things have been going since the Merge and what we should focus on more going forward. Details on this Survey will be posted in Transmissions within the next few weeks.
Otherwise, we will continue to work on recruitment, increase our Ops variety (more on that soon), as well as trying to organize some Joint Ops before the end of the Summer. We’ll wait on saying anything more definitive until after the survey results come in. Until next time!
On to Star Citizen.

Star Citizen
Greetings everyone!
This year has been a busy one for Star Citizen, with every month bringing an update featuring new content and improved game stability. As of writing this post, Star Citizen is currently on update 4.2: Storm Breaker. This update brings a new Sandbox gameplay that is story-driven into how the ASD is researching to help solve the regeneration crisis that is going on in the Verse. We also have another sandbox activity called Align and Mine with several new locations. A few months ago, VVarMachine held a Community Game Night where we ran the Align and Mine successfully with around 14 members in attendance. All of these updates include new features and locations that would be too much to write in one post. Soon, we are looking to see a new PvE sandbox activity as well. With all of these updates, we have unlimited potential for what we can do as an organization.
That being said, the VVarMachine Organization has been busy the past few months after reactivation. Currently, we are hosting 2-3 weekly missions (Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays), and the fleet has embarked on a special assignment with the VMNS Portland; an Idris being staffed by members of the fleet.
While our activity has been increasing, we look forward to the future of the fleet with what is to come. Currently, leadership is looking for members to step up and assist with management and organization. A survey was launched for those who are interested in hosting missions or taking on further responsibilities, such as training and recruitment. This will allow for flexibility with schedules and allow us to reach out to the verse more to grow into a much larger fleet.
As for the near future, mark your calendars for October 11th as CitizenCon 2955 will be Virtual this year, and we will be having a watch party. We will also be looking into whether we have any interest in next year’s Daymar Rally security service; if so, we will be holding weekly flight training. Lastly, if you are interested in doing a Bar Citizen, don’t hesitate to invite the Organization to celebrate in person!
See you all in the verse.
