FleetCom Update
Greetings VVarMachine!
I wish you well as we move into this fall season, and with the holidays just around the corner, it’s a great time to reflect on the year and make some memories with your family and friends. Our two gaming divisions have been hard at work to maintain a regular cadence of activities throughout the past few months, with no change anticipated as we approach the new year. Rest assured that if you need a break from the stress of the real world, our community will continue to provide the experiences week-to-week.
I’d like to officially welcome Jeffon to our Corps of Flag Officers, after attaining his two years time in service with our Star Citizen Fleet, most of which served in a leadership role. Also we are welcoming back Zahraphim to our Senior Officer Corps, he will be assisting Jeffon in leading the fleet and running regular missions going forward.
Cannon, you are a rockstar and a pillar of this community. Thank you for your continued efforts to maintain 3 operations per week in PlanetSide, consistently dedicated to training new members and keeping the gameplay experience varied and engaging for the veteran members.
Raz, you hold this place together behind the scenes, performing much of the administration that likely goes unnoticed and unappreciated by many, but certainly not by me.
Lastly to all of our members, we’d be nothing if you didn’t show up to participate on the regular. Thank you for your continued engagement and dedication to this community, whether you’re here every day, once per week, or once in a while.
Read more about the individual quarterly updates from our gaming divisions below. That’s it from me for now, I’ll see you all in our next monthly community game night if not sooner.

Division Updates

PlanetSide 2
Q3 has continued to be a great source of enjoyable ops all around. Over the last few months, we have participated in Joint Ops with FEFA and regular Joint Ops with 1COG. These ops have helped improve ops variety in addition to the change-ups we’ve been making lately, such as more Air and Armor, etc. As a result of us spending more time working with the rest of NC, our runtime for our ops has also doubled on average and we were recently invited to the NC Command Discord to help further coordinate and improve NC Command. Overall, our ops have improved significantly over the course of Q3.
As we’ve carried on with business as usual, one thing has stood out between conversations both within and outside of the outfit: we need to do more recruitment. (To speak personally) While I always refocus us on those efforts periodically, the reality is I haven’t maintained those efforts well enough over the years, and I let our desire for recruitment slip through the cracks multiple times. As division lead, that’s on me. Going forward, our main goal is recruitment above all else, or at least continuing to increase our visibility on Osprey. This will not mean that every op we run is a recruitment op, but recruitment will become my sole goal as outfit lead.
We will be running 1 Public Op per week minimum going forward with in-game comms. If at any point these ops start to slip out of the schedule, please hold me accountable so that I can continue doing right by all of you. Continued recruitment is in everyone’s best interest (including all of you and the NC).
Separate from Recruitment, expect Training to come around again as we move into Q4 due to some new and old faces joining us, as well as more entries into the revamped Training Database. If possible, we will also try to run Bastion Ops at least once before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more information on these things in the future.
As always, thank you to everyone who continues to show up and support the division. I look forward to seeing all of you at our next op (or whenever you find the time).
On to Star Citizen.

Star Citizen
The past few months, the VVarMachine Fleet has been responding to calls for mysterious reports of experiments taking place under Associated Sciences & Development (ASD) in their Onyx Facilities. Weekly missions have brought us to the depths of the newly created Star Citizen PU Narrative with some side Ops fighting criminals, looting, and exploring. The growth of the content in the game, as well as the game’s stability, has brought several returners and new players into the verse and the community of VVarMachine.
We ended this quarter after a very short CitizenCon, but also one that has been the most realistic for the timeframe, and focusing on Star Citizens content that is to come within the next six months… the Nyx star system.
As the Fleet looks to grow, we welcome back our returning players. One of those is our returning Senior Officer, Zahraphim, who will be assisting in leading the fleet. This coming update (4.3.2) with have a lot of us return to Pyro where the narrative of the verse continues. With weekly missions, we encourage fleet personnel to join together to discover what is to unfold, but be wary – Vanduul scouting parties have been reported.
Fly safe and have a warm fall and holiday season.

Thank You!
Like we do at every community meeting, and in each quarterly updated, we would like to thank all those that continue to donate through Patreon or Discord Server Boosting. During the Star Citizen Division reserve state, Patreon donations have been put on hold as the SCNet servers have been shutdown. We thank all our past supporters in helping offset the cost of the hosting.
Discord Server Boosting gives our Discord server a little extra flair from server banners to a custom join link. Our Discord Server Boosters: Ech0Whiskey, FallenHylian, Jeffon, MantisOlthoi, Razzun, Sivien21, WhiteknightR and Zahraphim. Your continued support is greatly appreciated in boosting our server and giving us the many cool features such as the custom join URL and more additional emojis!
