Star Citizen 3.18 is out, and we are expecting a lot of fun and new challenges. Now is a great time to join our Star Citizen Organization.
VVarMachine is a highly structured, light MILSIM, self-sufficient combat organization operating on the outer rim of UEE space. This means we are looking for players interested in a wide variety of duties in our Organization.
Fleet Details
We aim to create a highly organized, UEE-Aligned Paramilitary Organization including its own logistical support forces within the StarCitizen Universe. Our Fleet will offer players the ability to perform a vast majority of the in-game roles, as we aim to be a self-sufficient combat force operating on the outer rim of UEE space.
We utilize many MILSIM components, including a ranking system, with each PayGrade (rank) defining the roles which a member can perform within their unit. Advancement requirements from one PayGrade to the next are clearly documented and are in place to assure that we can select the most qualified members to potentially serve as leaders within their units and train the members below them.
The system we’ve built is dependent on the Leaders of each unit having a high level of control, and being deeply involved in recruitment, public relations, branding, training, and operational command of their units. In other words, We are growing this Fleet from the bottom up, relying on more than just the highest level of leadership to make decisions that impact the entire Fleet.
Star Citizen Organization Structure
Our Fleet is divided into four Commands, to allow separate management of Forces serving in different capacities.
- Naval Air Forces Command
- Naval Special Warfare Command
- Marine Forces Command
- Naval Logistics Command
All of the Commands above are built with a hierarchical structure, combining some of the elements of the United States Navy, Marine, and Air Force organization. At the lowest level, players are organized into Squadrons which specialize in certain areas of gameplay. Moving up the chain, related squadrons are combined to form an Air Wing. We have numerous Squadrons defined at this time, covering a multitude of roles including:
- Fighter
- Attack/Bomber
- Reconnaissance
- Combat Search and Rescue
- Combat Transport
- Electronic Warfare
- Mining & Resource Processing
- Logistics & Cargo Transport
A similar system is used for our Marine Forces, where each Platoon belongs to a Combat Team.
Each Squadron / Platoon is commanded by a Junior Officer, who is responsible for all aspects of unit development, branding, recruitment, and operations. As the organization grows, the structure above allows for expansions of similar types of units within each parent, until an upper limit is reached and a new sister unit at the parent level is formed. Because we are building from the bottom up, there is a clear opportunity for members to advance to higher leadership positions as recruitment continues and new units are needed.
For those members not interested in leadership, it is entirely up to them whether they choose to join a permanent unit, or wish to “float” between different responsibilities either within a specific Command or within the Fleet.
To learn more about the roles, responsibilities, and equipment operated for specific units, please submit a question in this thread, and your request will be forwarded to the appropriate Commanding Officer.
There are many opportunities currently available within our Fleet, regardless of your experience or skill-level, or what you wish to do in-game. We hold no requirements for time commitment by our members. We know that real life always comes first. We only ask that if you sign up to participate in organized events, you uphold your commitment. Above all else, we aim to provide a mature, welcoming, and entertaining place for our members to call home.
We offer custom-developed website support for our Fleet, along with both Discord and TeamSpeak3 VOIP services, hosted in US-West (Pacific) time zone. Currently, we have weekly organized operations in the PU every Saturday, at 1900 UTC. We also conduct training sessions throughout the week on an as-needed basis.
In addition to what is outlined above, we are looking for support-staff Officers to assist with Website Development, Graphic Design, Public Relations, and other duties.
